Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Jobsite Digital ("Jobsite Digital," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit jobsitedigital.adamfinke.com (the "Site"), interact with our quote forms, become a client of our website-and-CRM platform, or otherwise communicate with us.

Jobsite Digital is operated by Adam Finke, a sole proprietor based in Granite Falls, Minnesota. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at:

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you request a quote, become a client, or contact us, you may provide:

  • Name, business name, email address, and phone number
  • Business information (vertical, location, team size, current website, budget range, timeline)
  • Project details, photos, and other content you upload through our forms
  • Payment and billing information (when you become a paying client — see section 6 below)
  • Any other information you choose to send us in messages or notes

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser type and version, operating system
  • Pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, referring URL
  • Approximate geographic location (derived from IP)
  • Device identifiers and screen resolution

We use first-party analytics (built into our own platform) and do not currently use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar third-party advertising trackers on the Site.

Information collected via our platform (for our clients)

If you are a customer of one of our clients (for example, you filled out a quote form on a website we built for an HVAC, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, or cleaning company), we process your information on behalf of that client. The client — not Jobsite Digital — is the data controller for that information. We use it only to deliver our services to that client and as instructed by that client. Please refer to the client's own privacy policy for information about how they use your data.


2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your quote requests and inquiries
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our website and CRM platform services
  • Process payments and manage client accounts
  • Send transactional notifications (proposal links, payment receipts, account updates)
  • Send service-related SMS alerts (see section 3 below)
  • Send periodic follow-up emails to prospects who have not responded (see section 5 below)
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising targeting or share it with advertising networks.


3. SMS messaging program and consent

Opt-in consent

When you provide a mobile phone number through a Jobsite Digital quote form or other intake mechanism, you are opting in to receive transactional and service-related SMS messages from Jobsite Digital. By submitting your phone number, you expressly consent to receive these messages.

Types of messages you may receive

  • Confirmation messages acknowledging your quote request
  • Follow-up messages if you have not heard back from us within a reasonable timeframe
  • Account and service notifications (for clients) including new lead alerts, proposal status updates, and platform notifications
  • Customer service responses if you contact us via SMS

We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages without separate, explicit consent.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Prospects typically receive 1–5 messages total over a 30-day period. Clients may receive more frequent transactional messages based on the volume of leads to their business.

Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier. Jobsite Digital does not charge you for these messages, but your carrier may.

Opt-out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, after which no further SMS messages will be sent. You can opt back in at any time by replying START or by contacting us directly.

Carriers

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subprocessors that support the SMS messaging program (such as our SMS delivery provider, currently Twilio Inc.) is permitted only to the extent necessary to deliver messages you have consented to receive. We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status with any party for marketing purposes under any circumstance.


4. Email messaging

When you provide your email address through our forms or correspondence, you consent to receive transactional and service-related emails from us. These include quote confirmations, proposal links, payment receipts, and follow-up emails about your inquiry.

You may unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us. We will continue to send essential transactional emails (such as receipts and account notifications) as required to provide our services.

We use Resend as our email delivery provider. Resend processes the email content and recipient information on our behalf as a subprocessor.


5. Follow-up sequences

If you submit a quote request through our Site and we do not hear back from you, we may send up to four follow-up communications over a 30-day period. These follow-ups stop immediately if:

  • You book a call with us
  • You reply to any of our communications
  • You unsubscribe via the link in any email
  • You reply STOP to any SMS message

After 30 days, no further automated communications are sent unless you re-engage with us.


6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, bank account number, or other complete payment credentials on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data subject to its own privacy policy and PCI DSS Level 1 compliance.

We retain transaction records (amount, date, status, and last four digits of payment method) for accounting, tax, and dispute purposes.


7. Information sharing

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers (subprocessors). We share information with companies that perform services on our behalf — including Supabase (database and hosting), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS delivery), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare (DNS and content delivery). These providers are contractually bound to use your information only to provide their services to us.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers. If Jobsite Digital is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer.
  • With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.


8. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide services to you or our clients
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations (typically 7 years for financial records)
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us (see section 12 below). Some information may be retained in backups for a limited period or where required by law.


9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


10. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.


11. State-specific privacy rights

California (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, share, and sell
  • Access a copy of your personal information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising)
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights, including access, deletion, correction, and opt-out of targeted advertising and profiling. We do not engage in targeted advertising or automated decision-making with legal effects.

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a privacy request on your behalf. We require written proof of the agent's authorization.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice on the Site at least 30 days before they take effect.

Your continued use of the Site or our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.


14. International users

The Site and our services are operated from the United States. If you access them from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction.


If any provision of this Privacy Policy is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
